The same people that are trying to convince everyone that the new superman movie is in competition with iron man 3 are the same people trying to convince the world that Gwenyth Paltrow is the most beautiful woman.

You know that place between sleep and awake; That place where you can still remember dreaming? That’s where I will always love you. That’s where I will always be waiting.

The funny thing about losing someone you thought was a friends is theres a period when everything is dark but when you turn on the lights you realize that your real friends were always there.

Reason 117 why I should not drink vodka

That awkward moment when you think you’re having a good conversation about political correctness, race and how its okay to laugh at stereotypes with your friends and you realize the person you’re talking to is just a racist. Smh. Vodka is not my friend

I’m convinced lately that lipstick makes everything better. Whenever I start to feel down or even off I just put on some lipstick usually a black or deep red and it adds a bit of sexy to my day. In turn everything seems just a little bit better.

I’ve got a case of awkwardness

Is awkwardness nature vs nurture? A case could be made for either since its just as big a trend to be awkward or weird as it is to be normal and super social. Not that you can’t be a combination of some or all of those. My problem with it all is that I think people are pretty much bullshitting. I mean maybe its just the people I’m coming across but it seems I’m always hearing about how they’re awkward this and awkward that but they could have fooled the hell out of me. We all can’t all be a bunch of awkward people, can we? I mean imagine how much parties would suck.

Recently I find that I’m more and more awkward in social situations than I ever was before. Am I watching too much television? I mean theres always an awkward character but now there are whole shows and movies based on awkwardness. I was at a pumpkin party this weekend and it was like panic takes over me and I all of a sudden I don’t know what to do with my hands or if I should be saying something more interesting. Then before I know it fight or flight takes over and I either make an excuse to walk away or say something really stupid that I agonize about for the rest of my life.

I never use to be like that. I think what happens with this awkward generation is that we use that as an excuse to not do anything. To not go to that party or that job or even that girl/guy. Now that I think about it thats exactly what I’ve been doing and that is pretty lame.

So I’ve got a case of awkwardness and I’m want to get over it. If only so I can be better at parties.
